1. ¿Qué es el feudalismo?
Sistema contractual de relaciones políticas, militares y económicas caracterizado por la concesión de feudos (en forma de tierras y trabajo) que eran entregados por un señor feudal a cambio de una prestación política y militar ejercida por un vasallo o guerrero el cual suscribía un contrato sellado por un juramento de homenaje y fidelidad.

2. ¿Qué es el vasallaje?
Era la prestación militar de los vasallos a su señor y la colaboración en los enfrentamientos armados.

3. ¿Qué labores hacían los siervos?
Trabajaban la tierra y tenían que entregar una contribución en especie cambio de protección y seguridad.

4. ¿Por qué el nombre de Edad Media?
Se llama así por ocupar un sitio intermedio entre la antigüedad y la edad moderna. 

5. ¿Cuáles son las características de la alta Edad Media y la baja Edad Media?
Alta Edad Media - ausencia de gobiernos unitarios, el estado no existía y dominaban los feudos. Los reinos fueron la expresión de los estados.

Baja Edad Media- surge el Estado Moderno, la vida urbana se desarrolla y la ciudad adquiere importancia.

2. What is vassalage?
It was the military provision of the vassals to their lord and the collaboration in the armed confrontations.

3. What tasks did the servants do?
They worked the land and had to deliver a contribution in kind change of protection and security.

4. Why the name Middle Ages?
It is called that because it occupies an intermediate place between the antiquity and the modern age.

5. What are the characteristics of the high Middle Ages and the lower Middle Ages?
High Middle Ages - absence of unitary governments, the state did not exist and dominated the fiefdoms. The kingdoms were the expression of the states.


Low Middle Ages - the Modern State arises, urban life develops and the city acquires importance.
