Celebration of the Puerto Rican identity (Special Work)

Every year the Social Studies program commemorates the Puerto Rican identity in the week in which the discovery of Puerto Rico is observed.

The theme is: Puerto Rico: Space for coexistence, a melting pot of diversity and cultural integration

The motto is: Creating light portals to make visible those who enrich our history

It was determined to honor different personalities of Puerto Rico:

Special Work to deliver on Tuesday, November 23 through e-mail (historiamarrero@gmail.com) or on composition paper.

Instructions:

1. Investigate and explain what it means
    a. coexistence
    b. melting pot
    c. integration

2. After doing exercise 1 explain what the theme of the celebration means.

3. Investigate and expose what stands for celebration motto.

4. Choose three personalities of the above and make a statement in the form of a paragraph about the contribution they have made to our history.

5. Choose two people close to you and make a statement in a paragraph about the contribution they have made to your story.
